[Dining room, actually; it's got both a lot of space and a large table upon which to set things, and it does seem that he has a fair amount of things set out on one end of the table. Notebooks and the like, mostly, though he's also got a large bowl out and a knife and what looks like just a fucking unholy amount of pomegranates that he's been deseeding, because he is the most type-A person alive. Why he needs to prepare this many pomegranates is a fucking mystery, maybe he just needed something to do with his hands and the first thing that came to his deranged little mind was "pomegranates for days", but either way, it seems that's what he's been doing today.

...And now that he's left them alone for five minutes Koko is looking at the entire fruit shitshow he's got going on up there from one of the dining room chairs, looking like she is strongly contemplating trying to get at it somehow until he walks in, at which point she settles back.]

Koko, you don't - ...Well, I'm sure that you do want it, but you're not getting any of it.
