Oh, I'd imagine - and I'm hardly saying that they should just dismiss them. If they're our memories, then so be it.
I just don't understand the people seeming to have some sort of identity crisis over it. I can't imagine having a sense of self that fragile - I know exactly who I am, and I don't see why some memories of a destroyed past need to change that.
