First Impressions - Antumbra

☄ First Impressions

♚ VISUAL: Cumore is tall and thin, the sort of person that looks like he could probably take one good hit before he's on the ground demanding to know why the hell you would do such a thing to him; he has an extremely narrow frame (despite the uniform he wears trying to make it seem otherwise), though he is fairly toned and likes to show that off. He has long lavender hair, falling to about his shoulderblades, and he's extremely pale; he has bright red eyes that he accentuates with eyeliner and eyeshadow, and he wears lipstick often as well, in shades matching his hair. He's kind of gaudy overall, but he likes the attention.
♚ FASHION: Oh boy, um. So Cumore wears a variation on the standard Knight Captain uniform, by which I mean it's in ostentatious colors, he's only got about half of it on at any given time, and he doesn't believe in wearing a goddamn shirt underneath it. It's bad! It's really really bad! May we all hope he gets better clothes eventually! There's no helping the color palette, though.
♚ DEMEANOUR: Generally speaking, whomever manages to remove the fireplace poker from his ass is going to be the next King of England; while he tends to prefer giving off an outward impression of calm control, he alternates between infuriatingly smug about everything and shrieking hysterics with very little provocation, often very loud and histrionic whenever things stop going his way. He tends to be a bit distant regardless of what he's doing, and even when he thinks favorably of people it's a bit hard to tell because he's just so damn condescending.
♚ AURAL: I tend to use the Japanese voice for my reference, starting at about 8:56 here! He's voiced by Kenji Nomura, and he sounds...exactly like you would expect, actually? For reference, the English version starts at 13:06 and can be heard here! He's voiced by Liam O'Brien, somehow also sounding exactly like you would expect.

☄ OOC

♚ BACKTAGGING: I don't really like doing it beyond a week back in murdergame – I prefer tagging reasonably quickly.
♚ FOURTHWALLING: No thank you!
♚ PHYSICAL AFFECTION: He's a very hands-off person, and would prefer to not be touched if it can be helped; it's not anyone's fault, it's just that commoners are kind of disgusting, you see.
♚ PHYSICAL VIOLENCE: Unavoidable in murdergame! ...Warn me if you're going to just haul off and deck him or something! But generally, go for it.
♚ RELATIONSHIPS: but why

☄ Permissions

♚ CLASSISM: Cumore was raised in a society with a major class schism, having been taught from a young age that his station in life (having been born into the aristocracy) means that he's just inherently better than those who were not. He's used to treating the lower classes pretty badly and he doesn't have the best brain-to-mouth filter, so he says a lot of ignorant, prejudiced shit like it's a fact of life. (If the poor aren't worth less as people then why are they poor, etc.) Generally speaking I'll try to keep it to a reasonable minimum, and he'll likely learn reasonably fast that that sort of thing won't fly with everyone, but it is something that comes up with him from time to time.
♚ HUMAN RIGHTS VIOLATIONS: A lot of Cumore's involvement in Tales of Vesperia involves treating people pretty badly, including actions such as working people to death under inhumane conditions and sending people out to wander the desert until they die. He's kind of a piece of work, in other words. He also knows well enough to keep quiet about those particular activities unless it becomes exceedingly relevant, and the desert suicide missions are guaranteed to not come up at all, as they're beyond his canon point.
