[Oh, that's... He kind of waves a bit dismissively, it's fine.]

I already had drawings of these places done, they were just all from memory. They were going to bother me until I redrew them anyway.

Is there anything else you remember? I've remembered my manor, though I couldn't draw it for you since I was a bit preoccupied with a battle in the memory. Other than that, I've remembered two cities and a cave, none of which I could draw based on memory alone.

Wherever we were in that memory I've had with you in it doesn't seem to have been any of these places; I've no idea where I was talking to Alexei, so I couldn't tell you anything about that.

[Jaeger's not really sure what to do with that and it probably shows. He hesitates for a bit too long before he forces himself to speak up.]

[He's doesn't really want to talk about Alexei though, even though he probably should mention that he was being controlled by the man.]

...Well, I certainly hope this conversation helps me remember something else!

Well, I'd hate for it to have been for nothing.

[He leans back once that's out there, the usual mild agitation creeping back into his tone; he shoots a glance over at Koko, who is currently sitting up in that chair with a paw raised like she's considering batting at the fucking pomegranates, though once she knows she's been seen she seems to reconsider and settles back again.]

I'm not particularly eager to remember much else, at least for a while. I doubt I have much choice at this point.

That's understandable. Maybe you'll be lucky and you'll get a break from memories for a bit, at least.

I didn't think you would. Considering the circumstances though, I certainly can't blame you. I probably would have done the same thing.

[He's still irritated with himself for losing control like that, if he's going to be honest, but...]

I don't know how well I was able to explain anything to you. If there's anything you want clarified, I can. I at least owe you that much.

I think you did a good enough job of clarifying what happened, so I won't ask you to talk about that again. I don't think there's anything I need clarified. And don't worry about owing me or anything like that.

[He isn't looking at Jaeger, exactly - he's keeping his gaze turned away, watching the cat even though she isn't doing anything of particular interest - but there's something tight and perplexed visible in his expression; a lack of comprehension, the general notion that that isn't how anything works.]

...It's appreciated, then.

[...Yeah, he understands. If the situation were any different he probably would expect Cumore to pay him back in some way, but he can't do that when the memory Cumore received was that terrible. So he'll just let it go like this, even if it is confusing Cumore.]

Well, is there anything else to discuss or should I take my leave? I wouldn't want to overstay my welcome, after all!

[And that just...leaves him before he can really think about it; he's quiet for another moment longer before just trying to wave it off again.]
