I don't know anyone else who uses swords, and I'm currently not on the best of terms with the one person I'd trust to do this without experience.

Well, it's not terribly interesting, so you're going to be disappointed. We were arguing, he took a stab at something personal in a way I didn't care for, I snapped at him. That was all.

That's certainly fair. It's incredibly irritating when people do that... Is it something you think you can forgive him for?

...That's what I'm trying to work through. I said things that were certainly harsh myself, but I can't say I didn't mean them.

It's understandable if it's something you don't want to forgive. People who do that sort of thing... Well, chances are they'll do it again when they're angry at some other point. I can certainly understand not wanting to deal with that again.

But if you don't want to cut him out entirely, perhaps you two could talk about it.

...Ah, but I don't really need to give you advice for how to handle it, ja? My apologies. I tend to try to help, even when it's not needed.

Oh, I know. I just tend to get started without really thinking about it! I'm not trying to say I don't think you can handle it on your own or anything like that. I know you'll be fine, whatever you decide to do.

As I said, I don't know what I'm planning on doing about it. I'm trying to work out if I'm still angry about it or not, really.
